This is the semi-finished Master Bathroom for the time being and after I temporarily hung up the sailboat painting, I wasn't sure I liked it there or at all. Also the bench I bought just looks lonely there by itself. Tell me what you think about the whole shibang. Like it or ditch the painting and the bench?
And what color should I get for a bath rug, chocolate or white?

a few things...
i think the painting is too high. it may look better a little lower.
i like the bench, but you may want to show a picture without the bench so we know what it would look like.
i think the rugs are too light and there are too many. i vote for a chocolate rug that would pop as well as the bench. but you may be able to do without the bench if you add the splash of color in the rug.
i should also say - i really, really like the color of the walls. nice choice.
I agree with Robin...lower the photo, get a dark rug. Perhaps on the wall next to the window, facing over the tub putting up a towel bar and a decorative towel set might help? Gorgeous color of paint though. I have that color incorporated in my bath too...with chocolate and a light grey/blue color on the walls. Makes me want to ditch my white rugs and go for chocolate now.
Hmmm...things to do when Andreas is gone, lol.
Maybe a print or multi color rug with the chocolate, cream and wall color??????
